It’s been less than two months short of a year since I posted a polka-bluegrass cover of Taio Cruz’ hit song, Dynamite. Since then, I’ve been wondering how I’d ever manage to top it. Only time will really tell if I’ve managed to pull it off with this cover of Love In This Club, originally performed by Usher and Young Jeezy. I’m sorry it took me so damn long. I’m not actually sorry. I am. No. I’m not. I’m sorry.

If you happened to dig this track and, for reasons beyond my personal understanding, would like to be able to listen to it at your leisure on your own personal music players, you can grab a download of it here. And if lossless versions are your thing, here’s a zip of some of those too.

Also, it would be horrendously remiss of me to not give a huge plug to the very talented (and always bursting with real fruit flavour) Vondell Swain, who did an amazing job with the album artwork.

Happy listening! I guess!

Somebody That I Used To Know (4FRNT Remix) - Gotye

Wow. This is a killer remix. Shit gets dirty at the minute mark, like, old-school Electro House Sessions from Ministry of Sound dirty.

The Night Chicago Died - Paper Lace

What a great song.

A few years ago, my little brother and I would sing this at each other constantly.

The AV Club is now taking votes for Undercover 2012’s song list. This is the same effort that brought you They Might Be Giants’ fantastic rendition of Tubthumping and while they have a set list of options for songs for the majority of the voting form, they do have a write-in section where you can suggest a song you’d like to hear.

Last night Matt and I were talking about how awesome it would be if we could get a band to cover BRODYQUEST, Neil Cicierega’s beautiful composition scoring the greatest day in Academy Award winner Adrien Brody’s life.

So we need your help! Go to Undercover 2012’s voter page, and make sure to put Lemon Demon, “BRODYQUEST” in the what other song would you recommend form!

Please help spread the word because I believe this could be something genuinely awesome if enough of you pitch in!
